Trevin Muscat - General Manager
Hailing from Ontario, Trevin's love for the outdoors, travel and adventure enticed him to head West.
After graduating with an Environmental Studies degree in Urban Planning and a dual certificate in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing, Trevin worked in both the public and private sector of the GIS and IT world for 5 years before answering the call of the mountains.
An avid snowboarder, diver, hiker, mountain biker, motorcycle enthusiast and back-country camper, Trevin looks for any excuse to bushwhack the mountains or dive into the ocean of his new found playground.
Robyn Stewart - Chief Pilot
Robyn is a survey pilot who has been flying airplanes since 1998. She holds an airline transport pilot licence and university degrees in both chemistry and information management.
She has worked as a doughnut decorator, ditch digger, flight instructor and airline pilot, and has been flying aerial survey since 2007, collecting valuable data while navigating safely from airport to airport over the amazing terrain of Canada.
While not planning, doing paperwork or flying airplanes in extremely straight lines for Kîsik, Robyn can be found writing unpublishable novels, cooking palatable food, wielding a longsword, or riding her bicycle.
Thomas Dionne - Team Lead Production
Thomas is a McGill University graduate with a degree in Geography and Geology.
Before joining KÎSIK, Thomas worked on the railroad in Eastern Quebec, in the basement of a skyscraper at Rockefeller Center in New York, and as crew boss at the #2 horse showjumping center in North America. Thomas has always been obsessed with maps and found his passion for remote sensing in university. Thomas discovered that he could follow his dreams of adventure and remote sensing as an Aerial Sensor Operator with Kisik.
When not flying over the Western Frontier or processing data at the hangar, Thomas maintains 33 acres and all of its equipment for a property in Langley. Thomas can also be found amassing tools for his future shop, attempting to build furniture, learning the dark arts of wood finishing, or teaching himself something new.
Dominic Ngo - Aerial Sensor Operator
A deep-seeded passion for the outdoors and adventure have been driving forces in Dom’s life. A graduate from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Geography and Geomatics/Spatial Analysis, he has worn many different hats before joining the Kisik tribe. Dom has come to understand the inherent value of accurate, reliable spatial data from leading backcountry mountaineering trips in Southern Colorado, bike touring trips around the Canadian Rockies, and big wall climbing on oceans of granite. Throughout his travels Dom has come to appreciate first-hand the importance of sustainably managing Canada’s natural resources and environment for the benefit of future generations.
On his own time, Dom can usually be found pursuing his passions for alpine climbing, skiing backcountry powder stashes, and other self-propelled modes of joy.
Robert Ho - Aerial Sensor Operator
Robert has traveled all across the South Pacific since 1999. He is a Malaysian born Chinese with half indigenous “Dusun” status. From Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan, Robert recently embarked on his next step along the journey and moved to Canada with his family.
A graduate with master’s degree in Urban Planning and Spatial Information, Robert has worked as an electronic technician in Malaysia and Singapore before becoming an aerial survey engineer in Taiwan in 2004. No stranger to the Aerial Surveying industry, Robert has operated the Zeiss RMK-TOP film aerial camera, LiDAR scanner and UltraCAM in Taiwan. He’s flown throughout all of Taiwan and Timor-Leste while operating the UltraCAM XPWA and UltraCAM Osprey Prime for wide range of projects such as the 3D city modeling of Kuala Lumpur. Robert’s enthusiasm and background make him a great fit for to the Kisik tribe.
Robert has great passion for flying, camping, photography, and exploring all that beautiful British Columbia has to offer. He’s also a great fan of listening to upbeat and positive good vibe music in order to keep his mind relaxed either in office or at home.
Teara Fraser - Founder
Teara traveled to Africa and while in a small airplane for the first time, her ‘heart came to life’. In 2002 Teara launched her aviation career as a Commercial Pilot - it was transformational, truly giving this Indigenous woman wings. She loves to see others fall in love with flight and is inspired by connecting people with our changing land. In 2010, she started KÎSIK Aerial Survey Inc. (naming the company in her Cree language) and built this business from the ground up with an amazing, inspiring, exceptional tribe. In 2016, she sold the business, handing over the controls for a new exciting chapter of excellence and growth.
